Our Recent Work
State Electric Company employs a vast team of professionals who’ve dedicated their skill to the advancement of the electrification of the nation. We’ve completed extensive electrical projects nationwide, and we’re certified to train other electricians to install electrical EV charger infrastructure. Our local community is also very important to us, and for over 30 years, State Electric Company has been an active participant in city and state happenings.
We value doing good, safe work while completing jobs on time with integrity and customer satisfaction. Check out some of our recently completed projects below:
Complete Electrical System at New Hotel, Staybridge Suites
State Electric recently installed underground electrical – from the ground up – for the Staybridge Suites Hotel in Southgate, MI. Boasting over four floors of hotel rooms, State Electric connected all the electrical components. Our team weathered the elements for over twelve months to ensure the building was efficient, safe, and up to code. We did everything ranging from porting primary power underground (prior to construction) to wiring final light fixtures and other electrical within the building once it was built.
Residential EV Charger Installations
We’re certified installers for any residential or commercial-grade EV charger, including WallBox, Ford, Nema, Nissan, Tesla, and more. If you have a detached garage, carport, pole barn, etc., trenching a line underground may be required for electrical groundwork. We have the necessary equipment for all underground electrical needs.
The Cadillac of Novi Dealership
Our team is working hard at the Cadillac of Novi, upgrading their main electrical service and making accommodations to meet new EV compliance.
Bi-Directional EV Charging Systems
In partnership with Ford Motor Co. and Sunrun Solar, State Electric Company has had the pleasure of installing the first Bi-Directional Charging stations in several homes in Michigan. Bi-Directional charging is like a two-way street, where energy can flow in either direction, allowing homeowners to power their EVs and/or their home during an outage from their Ford F-150 Lightning.
