Not a residential electrician who also takes commercial work.
State Electric Company is an electrical contractor built for commercial, industrial and institutional projects. We run the electrical scope on ground-up construction, we hold master service agreements with national retailers and hospital systems, and we install and maintain the power and control systems inside municipal water plants, manufacturing facilities and 30-story office towers.
We’re family-run out of Holly, Michigan, and we’re big enough to have crews on a 12 MW substation and a four-site SCADA rollout in the same week.

One contractor. The whole electrical scope.
Most electrical contractors hand you a wiring package and leave you to coordinate everyone else. We take responsibility for the full electrical scope including the site work around it, so your schedule depends on one contractor instead of five.
We hold a Michigan builder’s license and a mechanical contractor’s license alongside our electrical licensing, and we handle permitting, utility coordination, inspection and commissioning as part of the job rather than as your problem.
